Monday
At work until noon before heading down to Greenock to join an Inverclyde Alliance tour of Inverclyde. The tour stops off at Kilmacolm Community Centre for an Alliance Board meeting before heading back to Greenock via Port Glasgow.
Tuesday
At work until lunch time. In the afternoon I have a dental appointment. In the evening I am planning to attend a meeting of Park Farm Tenants' and Residents' Association.
Wednesday
I have work commitments until late afternoon before heading to Greenock for a Labour Group meeting. In the evening I will be attending the Garden Fest awards in Greenock Town Hall.
Thursday
At work until late morning. I have a lunch appointment with a number of former Councillors at 12.30, a Members' briefing on procurement at 3.00 and a full Council meeting at 4.00.In the evening I will be attending St Michael's Primary School Parent Council followed by Port Glasgow High School Awards Ceremony.

A full day at work.

The week ahead...
Monday
On holiday from work but a busy day of Council commitments. In the morning I am going on a walk round of Port Glasgow Industrial Estate with officers. In the afternoon I have the full Council pre-agenda followed by a visit from the COSLA Presidential Team. At 5.00 I am meeting with Port Glasgow Traders' Association.
Tuesday
At work in the morning. In the afternoon I am attending a seminar on mental health in Greenock Town Hall followed by a visit to the new Port Glasgow Shared Campus. in the evening I have a surgery in St Francis' Primary School and then hope to attend a meeting of Kilmacolm Community Council.
Wednesday
At work in the morning . In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive and the weekly meeting of the Labour Group. In the evening I hope to attend a meeting of Newark Primary School Parent Council.
Thursday
A full day at work with an evening meeting.
Friday
Most of the day I will be through at COSLA in Edinburgh for meetings.
Saturday
I have a surgery at 10.00 in Clune Park Resource Centre.

A full day at work. In the evening I hope to attend a meeting of St Francis' Primary School Parent Council.
Tuesday
At work in the morning. In the afternoon I will be chairing a meeting of the Council's Policy & Resources Committee. In the early evening I have a meeting of the River Clyde Homes Board. Depending on when this finishes, I hope to catch at least part of a meeting of St Stephen's High School Parent Council.
Wednesday
At work in the morning. In the afternoon I have meetings of the Council's Strategic Leadership Forum and Labour Group. No evening meetings due to child care responsibilities (and the Champions' League!).
Thursday
A full day at work and no evening commitments again due to child care responsibilities.
Friday
Off work due to the Glasgow September Weekend holiday. I have however arranged a visit to the Quarriers' ABC Project in Greenock along with my colleagues Joe McIlwee and Vaughan Jones.
