The week ahead...

Monday
In the morning I have a telephone conference call with Scottish Labour Education lead Councillors and our Shadow Education Spokesperson Iain Gray MSP. In the afternoon I have meetings with Peel Ports, various officers and the Members' Budget Working Group. In the evening I have a meeting of the Woodhall Task Group and Port Glasgow West Community Council.
Tuesday
In the morning I have a meeting of the Council's Women's Forum. In the afternoon I have a meeting with the local Police Inspector, a meeting of the Audit Committee and a Members' budget briefing. In the evening I have a meeting of Kilmacolm Community Council.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive, the Inverclyde Alliance Board pre-agenda and a meeting of the Labour Group.
Thursday
In the afternoon I have a meeting of the Health and Social Care Committee followed by a meeting of the Members' Budget Working Group.
Friday
In the morning I am attending the official launch of the local I:DEAS Programme. In the afternoon I have a meeting of the Texas Instruments Task Force.

The week ahead...

Monday
In the morning I am attending a meeting of Labour Group Leaders in Glasgow with Scottish Labour Leader Richard Leonard. In the afternoon I have a Members’ briefing followed by a meeting of the Members’ Budget Working Group. In the evening I hope to attend the public meeting called to try and establish Port Glasgow East Community Council.
Tuesday
In early afternoon I have a Members’ briefing. In the evening I have a meeting of the River Clyde Homes Audit and Finance Committee followed by a meeting of Slaemuir Tenants’ and Residents’ Association.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and Labour Group. In the evening I have a meeting with Texas Instruments to get an update on where they are with trying to sell their Greenock plant as a going concern.
Thursday
In the morning I am attending the Clyde Conversations event in Port Glasgow Town Hall. In the afternoon I have meetings of the Police and Fire Scrutiny Sub-Committee and full Council. In the early evening I have a meeting of the Greenock Arts Guild Finance and Staffing Committee.
Friday
I am in Edinburgh most of the day for the COSLA Leaders meeting followed by meetings with the  Deputy First Minister and Children’s Minister. In the evening I will be making a report to Greenock and Inverclyde Constituency Labour Party.

In the afternoon I have a meeting with the Council's Members' Services Manager to discuss my personal development plan followed by the Inverclyde Council Pre-agenda.
Tuesday
In the morning I have a meeting of the Glasgow City Region Cabinet.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive then a meeting of the Labour Group.
Thursday
In the early evening I a meeting of the Greenock Arts Guild Board.
Friday
Through in Edinburgh in the morning to Chair a meeting of the COSLA Children and Young People Board.

The week ahead...

Monday
In the afternoon I have the Chief Executive's annual appraisal interview. In the evening I have a meeting of the Greenock Arts Guild Nominating Committee via teleconference.
Tuesday
In the afternoon I will be chairing a meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee. In the evening I hope to attend a Scottish Environment Protection Agency meeting in Quarrier's Village regarding fish migration.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and Labour Group
Thursday
In the afternoon I am in Edinburgh for a meeting of the Scottish National Council for Teachers representing COSLA.
Friday
In the afternoon I am at COSLA in Edinburgh for a Leadership Sounding Board meeting. If I am back from Edinburgh in time I hope to attend the Inverclyde launch event in the Battery Park in Greenock for the Year of Young People 2018. In the evening I will be attending a meeting of Renfrewshire North & West Constituency Labour Party in Renfrew.
Saturday
I will be at the Scottish Labour Councillors Conference in Stirling.
