The week ahead...

Monday
In the evening I am attending a Mass in Port Glasgow to celebrate Catholic Education Week.
Tuesday
Late morning/early afternoon I am attending a meeting of the Scottish Education Council in Edinburgh.
In the evening I hope to attend meetings of Kilmacolm Parent Partnership and Kilmacolm Community Council.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive followed by a meeting of the Labour Group. In the evening I have a meeting of the Greenock Arts Guild Finance and Staffing Committee.
Thursday
In the afternoon I have a meeting at the Scottish Parliament with Business Minister Paul Wheelhouse. In the evening I am due to attend a Mass in Greenock to mark 100 years of Catholic state education.
Friday
No Council commitments at this time.

The week ahead...

Monday
In the afternoon I will be chairing a special meeting of the Inverclyde Alliance Board on the Council's budget consultation, which will give community planning partners the opportunity to hear about the savings proposals and how they can respond to the consultation. Following this I will be chairing a meeting of the Council's cross-party Members' Budget Working Group.
Tuesday
In the morning I will be attending a Members' briefing before chairing the Policy and Resources Committee pre-agenda. In the afternoon I will be attending a meeting of the Education and Communities Committee. In the evening I hope to attend a meeting of the Park Farm Tenants' and Residents' Association.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive and a meeting of the Labour Group. In the evening I have a meeting of the River Clyde Homes Board.
Thursday
In the evening I have a surgery in St Francis' Primary School.
Friday
I am through in Edinburgh at COSLA most of the day. In the evening I will be attending a meeting of Greenock and Inverclyde Constituency Labour Party.

Monday
In the evening I hope to attend a meeting of St Francis' Primary School Parent Council.
Tuesday
In the afternoon I have a meeting in Edinburgh with Deputy First Minister John Swinney. In the evening I will be attending a meeting in Quarrier's Village on fish migration and habitats organised by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I have a COSLA meeting via audio conference, my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive and a meeting of the Labour Group. The Labour Group will be meeting with the local trade unions to discuss the Council's budget consultation. In the evening I will be attending a civic reception.
Thursday
In the afternoon I have a briefing on traffic regulation orders and a meeting of the Environment and Regeneration Committee. In the evening I will be attending a meeting of St Stephen's High School Parent Council.
Friday
In the morning I have a pre-meeting for the Chief Executive's annual appraisal.

In the afternoon I have a Members' briefing on the forthcoming budget consultation and then a meeting of the Audit Committee.
Wednesday
In the morning I am in Edinburgh at the Scottish Parliament for a meeting with a Government Minister. In the afternoon I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive and a meeting of the Labour Group.
Thursday
In the afternoon I have a meeting of the Health and Social Care Committee.
Friday
