The week ahead...

Monday
In the morning I am attending a 'No Knives Better Lives' event at Greenock's I Youth Zone. At lunch time I have my River Clyde Homes Board Member's appraisal meeting. In the afternoon I have a meeting with the Principal of West College Scotland and the Inverclyde Council pre-agenda.
Tuesday
In the morning I have a short-listing meeting for a senior Council officer appointment.
Wednesday
In the morning I am attending a Children's' Rights Conference at St Columba's High School in Gourock. In the afternoon I have my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and the Labour Group. In the evening I am attending Port Glasgow High School's musical concert.
Thursday
In the evening I am attending St Ninian's Primary's school show.
Friday
In late afternoon I have my regular liaison meeting with Iain McKenzie MP and Duncan McNeil MSP.

The week ahead...

Monday
In the afternoon I have an Inverclyde Alliance workshop followed by a Board meeting. In the evening I will be attending a meeting of Port Glasgow High School Parent Council.
Tuesday
In the late morning I have my weekly meeting with the Chief Executive followed by a meeting with Greenock Arts Guild. In the afternoon I will be chairing a meeting of the Policy & Resources Committee. In the evening I have a surgery in Kilmacolm Community Centre and a meeting of Kilmacolm Primary School Parent Partnership.
Wednesday
In the afternoon I will be participating in interviews for the post of Chief Executive of Riverside Inverclyde. In the evening I will be attending Inverclyde Schools' Gala Concert.
Thursday
In the morning I will be attending an event in Greenock to discuss how young people with learning difficulties can be supported into employment. In the early evening I hope to attend a community engagement event at the Beacon Arts Centre.
Friday
In the morning I will be through in Edinburgh at a COSLA Convention meeting.

Wednesday
Going on a walkabout of Port Glasgow Town Centre in the morning as part of the discussions on a new regeneration plan followed by a question and answer session on my role as a Councillor with Modern Studies students at St Stephen's High School. In the afternoon I have my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and Labour Group. In the evening I will be attending the ordination of the new Bishop of Paisley.
Thursday
Attending a meeting of Riverside Inverclyde Board in the afternoon.
Friday
At the Scottish Labour Party Conference in Perth.

Afternoon meetings of the Policy & Resources Committee pre-agenda and Education & Communities Committee. In the evening I will be attending a meeting of Park Farm TARA.
Wednesday
Attending a conference on 'More Choices, More Chances' in the morning in Greenock Town Hall. In the afternoon I have my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and Labour Group. In the evening I hope to attend a meeting of Port Glasgow East Community Council.

Friday

Monday
No Council commitments at this time.
Tuesday
Attending the shortlisting panel for the Riverside Inverclyde Chief Executive post in the morning. No other Council commitments at this time.
Wednesday
I have an all Members' briefing in early afternoon followed by the Inverclyde Alliance Board pre-agenda and my weekly meetings with the Chief Executive and Labour Group. In the evening I am meeting with Inverclyde Youth Council along with my colleague Councillor James McColgan, the Council's Young Persons' Champion.
Thursday
In the afternoon I have a briefing on the Council's roads investment plans for the coming financial year followed by a meeting of the Environment & Regeneration Committee and a meeting with the Port Glasgow Traders' Association. In the evening I have a meeting of Kilmacolm New Community Centre Company Board.
Friday
At lunch time I am attending the launch of the new I Heat project. In the late afternoon I have a meeting with Duncan McNeil MSP and Iain McKenzie MP. This is followed by door to door canvassing for the Better Together campaign.
Saturday
In the morning more canvassing for Better Together. In the afternoon I am attending the Port Glasgow Bulb Show.
Sunday
More canvassing in the afternoon for Better Together.
