I spoke to over 70 Primary 6 and 7 pupils of St Michael's Primary School in Port Glasgow this afternoon about my experiences of work as part of the school's 'World of Work' week. As a former pupil I am always pleased to go back to my old school.
Hopefully the young people found my talk informative. I certainly found their questions challenging but thoroughly enjoyed my chat with them.
Another former pupil taking part this week is Gordon Matheson, the current Leader of Glasgow City Council, who spent his formative years in Port Glasgow.
