Major investment in play areas approved...
The Council's Safe, Sustainable Communities Committee this afternoon approved a further investment of £350,000 in play facilities across Inverclyde:

I am very pleased to read of the £75k in Wemyss Bay.
ReplyDelete15 years ago, when I bought my new build house in the village, each new buyer paid a sum towards the new playpark in the village.
A great incentive for the many parents of young families buying their new family homes.
Now that my kids are just about old enough to start university, I am glad that the play facilities will finally materialise - especially since Ardgowan Football Development got their pitch, that they truly seem to believe is solely theirs, first.
Can we just confirm that the council have managed to finally wrestle the bond from the insurance firm (DeMontfort) toward the construction of the facility please ?
I'd hate to see that opportunity missed again.
