I attended the annual Kirkin' of the Council at Wellpark Mid Kirk this morning.
As usual, Reverend Sorensen treated us to a highly uplifting service, including the wonderful voices of the Inverclyde Voices adult choir and entertaining dancing by pupils of Greenock Academy, finishing off with a rousing rendition of 'Onward, Christian Soldiers'.
We now head off for the summer recess with an extra spring in our step.
