I had my first walk on the new £690,000 3G pitch at Parklea this afternoon, which has just been handed over by the contractor.
What a fantastic new facility for Port Glasgow. I am sure that local teams are very much looking forward to playing on it.

It really is fabulous the work that your Council is doing to improve sports facilities across Inverclyde. You deserve great credit for this and I hope that it is appreciated by the sporting community.
