Don't miss your vote...

People in Inverclyde have until midnight on Wednesday 15th June to make sure they are registered to vote in the forthcoming by-election.

Applications for a postal vote or an application to amend an existing postal or proxy vote must be in the hands of the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on 16th June.

Extra staff are on hand to deal with last minute electoral registration applications and the office at 63, Cathcart Street, Greenock will stay open until midnight on the 15th.

Electors have until 5pm on Wednesday 22nd June to submit a proxy vote application.

  1. I think your party are facing a humiliating defeat now and next year.Watching your party scramble around your glasgow labour party people proves you have nothing and nobody.
    Councillors old and new to the rescue this year and next year(Roberston and O'rourke )is a sign of a party ready to lose control .No new blood,locally and all old faces a bunch old losers being rolled back out.

    I would have to disagree. From my experience there is a wealth of talent emerging within the local Labour Party. The issue for many would be activists is that we are predominantly Council workers (the largest employer in this area) and in positions of responsibility, therefore discouraged from actively/visibly campaigning.

    This doesnt mean we aren't active behind the scenes nor does it mean our opinions are not heard.

    p.s. just for the record, I'm not an old loser!
