More than £96,000 has been awarded in the latest round of payments from Inverclyde Council’s Grants to Voluntary Organisations Budget in 2011/12.
The discretionary element of the fund is paid to groups to cover the cost of a variety of expenses from running costs and training courses to equipment and computers and ongoing staff costs.
Nearly £600,000 has already been allocated from the Grants to Voluntary Organisations Fund over the next three years to commissioned projects.
