Inverclyde live...

I see that SNP Councillor Chris Osborne would like Inverclyde to start broadcasting Council committee meetings on the Internet.

Perhaps if that happened Chris and some of his colleagues would turn up a bit more often.

The public would also get a chance to see how inept an opposition they are.

  1. I used to enjoy your blog but increasingly You come across as a bitter and nasty bully of a man, with no respect for anyone.Chris Osborne is and will prove to be a man of character with a political cause to try and help others.
How do things ever get done when all you ever do is tear strips of anyone who crosses you. You only seem intent in helping yourself.Disliked by political opponents, council officials and sections of your own party. Even now there are members of your own party more willing to talk to SNP collegues than with yourself.Maybe more people would get involved in politics if the likes of yourself had more respect. More people will turn away from Labour locally to the SNP than deal with the likes of you. Stuart Mcmillan at least has the bottle to go to all of Inverclyde ,there is a world beyond Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow. Im sure Im not the only one losing any respect I had for you.
But Im sure my words will just bounce of someone with such a high regard for themselves

  2. Constructive criticism always welcome Graham (is that your real name?).

I won't ask you to name the Council officials and sections of my own party who dislike me because I know that to be a load of crap.

I am sure that there are political opponents who don't like me but I take that as a compliment.

I will leave it to others to comment on the comparisons between Chris Osborne, Stuart McMillan and myself.

With regard to me not being interested in the rest of Inverclyde, a look at the record of my administration shows that again to be nonsense.

That having been said, I offer no apology for being a hard working ward councillor who fights for the interests of my constituents in Port Glasgow and Kilmacolm: after all that is what they elected me to do!

Also one of the main reasons that I set up this blog was to keep my constituents informed about my work on their behalf (see my very first post).

If you are not interested in this don't read my blog anymore.

  3. Yes this is my real name as I met you and Mr Mundell previously regarding another issue ,but it does not suprise me you dont remember constituents names.

You fail to answer my main point that is that all you do is have a go at opponents, there is no respect for anyones opinion but your own.

Your Labour collegues know who they are,but know not to critisize you in public ,because they know the power you hold within your party would have stopped them in their selection process to stand. There is no respect just fear.

I am a SNP activist but was a member of the labour party. I left because of the cronism and union elite who to this day still are first in line for selection, unlike the SNP who treat every member with total respect.Which means the likes of myself can vote for who represents me.Not someone forced on me by a party bully.

  4. You do really talk a load of rubbish Graham - what's your second name?

I have a great relationship with all my Labour colleagues and we work very much as a team.

I am sorry to disappoint you but I have no power within the party - the only position that I hold is Treasurer of the Port Glasgow & Kilmacolm Branch.

Like all my colleagues I will require to be re-selected before I can stand in next year's election.

The SNP are welcome to you.

  5. My name is Graham Todd ,and I previusly raised an issue about your then Labour colleagues fraudulent claim for benefits. And as I said before no doubt my words make no difference to you as you arent one for listening. I am very relliably informed about your party from an SNP leader. And by your reply I can see you cant take critisism well.

  6. I am getting bored with you now Graham.

Do you really think I am going to take crap from someone who clearly does not know me or what I am about and who is making things up about me?

I have met your like before.

You have had your final comment.

    Goodbye!
